There is not enough evidence that inclusion of mycelium in a functional mushroom product is beneficial. Mycelium is grown on grain and it’s virtually impossible to separate the mycelium from the grain. This dilutes the effectiveness of the final product. At Touchwood Mushrooms we’re about results and good health outcomes, which is why we only use the whole fruit body.

Can I combine Chaga with other Touchwood Mushrooms products?

Yes. Many people pair Chaga with Turkey Tail for daily immune and gut support, or with Lion’s Mane in the morning for focus, and Reishi in the evening for relaxation.

Our experience in mushroom extraction has led us to conclude that the best way to gain the complete benefits of mushroom supplements is through our dual-extraction method. We haven’t seen any additional benefits in encapsulation of the mushroom extract. Capsules and tablets also require additional ingredients to be taken in by the body. Our preference has always been to deliver the highest level of beneficial mushroom extract from 100% fruit body, and with the lowest level of alcohol to act as a carrier and for preservation.
