Our alcohol-free version has a slightly sweet taste due to the glycerin base. Many customers find it more pleasant than alcohol-based tinctures, making it easier to incorporate into beverages or take directly. It also makes it suitable for children over 5 years and for pets.

While everyone's experience is different, most people report enhanced mental clarity and focus within 2-8 weeks of consistent use. Optimal results typically develop over 3-4 months of regular consumption.

Our experience in mushroom extraction has led us to conclude that the best way to gain the complete benefits of mushroom supplements is through our dual-extraction method. We haven’t seen any additional benefits in encapsulation of the mushroom extract. Capsules and tablets also require additional ingredients to be taken in by the body. Our preference has always been to deliver the highest level of beneficial mushroom extract from 100% fruit body, and with the lowest level of alcohol to act as a carrier and for preservation.

Lion’s Mane mushrooms are native to the forests of Asia, Europe and North America. In nature, they’re commonly found growing on rotting hardwood trees and logs in thick forests.

The Lion’s Mane mushrooms we use in our premium liquids are grown in two places – on our farm in Western Australia and in organically certified, dedicated mushroom facilities in China.

It’s important to remember that China is the birthplace of medicinal mushrooms, having been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. China grows 87% of the world’s mushrooms, producing some of the most potent medicinal mushrooms available.

All of our imported products are triple checked by the FDA and Australian customs. Our products are sourced from clones of mushrooms that are guaranteed to contain the beneficial compounds that functional mushrooms are known for.

There is not enough evidence that inclusion of mycelium in a functional mushroom product is beneficial. Mycelium is grown on grain and it’s virtually impossible to separate the mycelium from the grain. This dilutes the effectiveness of the final product. At Touchwood Mushrooms we’re about results and good health outcomes, which is why we only use the whole fruit body.
