There is not enough evidence that inclusion of mycelium in a functional mushroom product is beneficial. Mycelium is grown on grain and it's virtually impossible to separate the mycelium from the grain. This dilutes the effectiveness of the final product. At Touchwood Mushrooms we're about results and good health outcomes, which is why we only use the whole fruit body.
